At the right time,
as the Scriptures say,
you did all we needed
and more.
But we who count days,
to whom 1,000 years are not
as a day,
often count you late,
or at least ill-timed.
But the Lord is never late,
nor is he early;
he arrives precisely when he means to.
Help us to trust you.
